Tips on preventing mosquitos and other insects before spring

Spring has officially SPRUNG! Are you worried on pins and needles waiting for bugs and insects to stampede your yard and home?  Let us help calm your nerves!  Below are a few tips and tricks for things you can do at home to lower the pest population before hatching season!   1. Identify and fix standing water areas Wait until the day after the first big spring rain, and then survey all yard space surrounding your home for any of the slightest flooded areas that are haven’t drained.  Standing water spots are breeding zones for mosquitos. So, you’ll want to identify and eliminate those areas before the mosquitos find them and begin breeding.Keep in mind, if you have a lot of vegetation in your back yard, you may have to combat higher populations of mosquitos.  If so, call us to treat underneath the leaves of your vegetation each month during high breeding season.
